German Course und Career Coaching with AVGS - FAQ

What is an AVGS voucher?
An AVGS (Activation and Placement Voucher) is issued by the Employment Agency or Jobcenter in Germany. It allows you to attend certified training programs for free.

Is the German course really free?
Yes! If you receive an AVGS voucher, the course is 100% free of charge – including materials and personal coaching.

Who can apply for an AVGS voucher?
Job seekers, unemployed persons, or people in career transition in Germany. Your caseworker at the Jobcenter or Employment Agency decides.

How can I get a voucher to attend your training for free?

To receive an AVGS voucher for our courses, you must be registered as a job seeker with the Employment Agency (Arbeitsagentur) or Jobcenter in Germany. Once registered, a caseworker will be assigned to you.

Ask your caseworker for an AVGS voucher for a certified one-on-one job application training and German language course. Show them our course information either on our website or on the official portal of the Employment Agency.

We will be happy to support you with a sample request and provide all necessary documents for your application.

Is the course online or in person?
All our AVGS-funded courses are 100% online – flexible, individual, and accessible from anywhere in Germany.

Do I need to speak German already?
Yes. You need at least A2 level German skills. Ideally, you should have B1 or higher to fully benefit from the course.
